Project 1~ PINCH POT~

For this project I worked on shaping and forming a pot with the techniques of pressure to the clay with your fingers and palms of the hand. It was too plain for me when I got the final, correct shape, so I used a sharp tool to carve two flowers onto opposite sides of the pot. After firing this piece from green-ware to bisque-ware, I chose a crystalites glaze, Mayco Celestial blue S-2716 Semi-opaque. In results of this crystalite color, I really like the final piece all-together.
