Pot Project

*My inspiration for this project was to create a large pot and perfect my pinch pot methods. 

~For this project, I began building up a larger pinch pot from my previous project. The only issue I found with the process of making this was that it the clay dried too quickly and became leather hard. This was an issue because I didn't get a perfect shape on the pot before it dried, so there were some remaining lop-sided curves to the sides of the pot. 

~After firing the green-ware, I decided to try something new with glazes and designs, and went for a leafy/vine design in an avocado under-glaze, then went over this with a clear glaze. 

~The results of my glazing was great in my opinion, but some of my overlapping paintbrush strokes are noticeable with the green under-glaze.
